Progress on the Beaglebone AI

Hi mp2100 ,

This board really is new and powerful, I actually have one sat on my desk as we speak. We'll have more new information soon about this, and at the moment I'm collecting together details about what we can do with it and how we can demonstrate its capabilities best.

There may also be a RoadTest opportunity coming up!

Good to know it's getting close.  Any hint on when mere consumers can buy one cstanton ?

BTW, newark.com is taunting me.  I received the ~ monthly sales email from them, with what item featured prominently?  Yes, the Beaglebone AI.  "New!"  "Shop Now".  When I clicked on the link it took me to newark.com and displayed: BBB, BBBlue, pocketbeagle.  No BB AI.  Disappointed.

They probably meant to link to a 'register your interest' type of form as opposed to it being available yet, unfortunately, it'll be soon(tm)

I added my email to the register your interest on the BeagleBoard AI page when it was first announced I believe on the LinuxGizmos.com web page on Feb. 27

again after this post first appeared and it said I was already registered. Looking at the AI wiki page (It did not exist when I first registered and I was not informed

when it began) again after this post appeared I see that there have been several updates. I am also very interested as to when it will actually be available. It

would be nice if they would at least send emails to tell me that there were updates with a link to the wiki page. It does not seem like too much to ask for.

I understand, some of these updates are so fresh off the conveyor that there's not enough opportunity for it to propagate to those necessary, you're ahead of the curve
