Hi Group,
I am new to hacking the black, and have some questions. Worked through the well-written documentation, BB-View Cape Manual. I am working with a nice new up-rev Beaglebone Black, and I have both the 4.3 and 7" LCDs to play around with. I am using the latest Angstrom distro on the eMMC, and the LCDs both worked fine without a different kernel compile so far.
Is that step in section 7.2 Compilation of the Kernel required or just included as, "if you could not make that work so far, try this..."? I am kind of hoping not, because the waters appear to get deep and dark at this point.
