BeagleBone Blue battery

Hello

I have a question about powering my BB Blue via the 12V DC jack input with a battery pack. Do I need to check the battery level so that I can power down the BB Blue gracefully with a shutdown command? If so how do I do this?

You need to know the minimum voltage for a safe operation of the battery that you are using. Deepens on the chemistry but for a lipo battery the recommended is about 20% SOC or 7.45V.

I have the Black, not the Blue. Mine is running Linux. "sudo shutdown -h now"
