Problem with LCD touch example

Hi,

I tried couple of examples with STM32FDiscovery expansion Board and made USART and LCD 35T w/o touch example work.

But, LCD touch example kept giving me "calibration fail" message when I tried to calibrate the touch screen.

I'm using Keil uVision4 and used the project file in STM32Fxx_LCD_Example_Project/LCD_Touch/MDK-ARM

I set STM32F407VG as my target devcice and ST-Link Debugger as my debugger.

It compied and load without errors. LCD screen showed total five calibration points.

So, I touched each point with touch pen. But, "Calibration fail message" came out and it did calibration again.

Pleas help if anyone knows about this problem.

Have you managed to get past this calibration issue yet? I found that the calibration points had to be accurately touched, and a delay before the next crosshair appearing caused me to double-tap some points…

Hello, from where did you download this software examples?
I bought the baseboard and the lcd module, but I dont find the software examples for this last one.
For the baseboard I found examples for ethernet and usb only.

I would avoid the ST examples altogether, they are absolute junk! We have scrapped all of the manufacturers firmware libraries and resorted to writing them ourselves from scratch.

You will end up with more stable and less bloated code through this approach, and learn more in the process.

I have taken some time to look for the LCD examples but cannot seem to find them online again.
