The CC3000 FRAM Evaluation Module KitCC3000 FRAM Evaluation Module Kit is a full turn-key TI Wi-Fi evaluation and demonstration tool for the MSP430 FRAM MCUs and TI's Simplelink Wi-Fi that includes all of the necessary hardware and software to get started quickly. SimpleLink CC3000 Wi-Fi is a self-contained wireless solution that simplifies the process of implementing Internet connectivity. SimpleLink Wi-Fi minimizes host microcontroller (MCU) software requirements making it the ideal solution for embedded applications using any low-cost/low-power MCU. The kit also allows users to take advantage of the new gnereation of MSP430 microcontroller devices with integrated Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM).

The SimpleLink CC3000 Wi-Fi solution is provided as a module to reduce development time, lower manufacturing costs, save board space, ease certification, and minimize RF expertise required. Additionally it is provided as a complete platform solution including software drivers, sample applications, API guide, user documentation and a world-class support community.

The platform has a development kit that pairs the CC3000 with the MSP-EXP430FR5739MSP-EXP430FR5739 which features the industry's first ultra-low power FRAM MCU. Other software examples and porting details to use this solution are also provided on this page. The CC3000's minimal MCU attach requirements and unmatched integration enables WiFi in many applications that were previously not possible.
