Kit Overview

The LMZ10501 Evaluation Board (LMZ10501EVAL/NOPB)LMZ10501 Evaluation Board (LMZ10501EVAL/NOPB) is configured for 1.8V output voltage from 2.7V to 5.5V input. The resistor voltage divider RT and RB set the output voltage. The external capacitor CVC bypasses the VCON pin and provides additional soft start time.  The board features additional component footprints for various device enabling schemes and AC signal injection terminals for feedback loop measurements. The evaluation board with its default Bill of Materials offers great EMI performance, complying with the EN 55022 Class B radiated emissions standard.

The LMZ10501LMZ10501 is a  SIMPLE SWITCHERRegistered nano module which is easy-to-use DC-DC solutions optimized for space-constrained applications. Only an input capacitor, an output capacitor, a small VCON filter capacitor, and two resistors are required for basic operation.

  • The multiProductLinkLMZ10501 is capable of driving up to 1A load with excellent power conversion efficiency, line and load regulation, and EMI performance.
  • The multiProductLinkLMZ10501 operates in fixed 2.0MHz PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) mode, and is designed to deliver power at maximum efficiency.
  • The output voltage of the multiProductLinkLMZ10501 can also be dynamically adjusted between 0.6V and 3.6V by driving the VCON pin externally. Internal current limit based softstart function, current overload protection, and thermal shutdown are also provided.

Key Applications: Point of load conversions from 3.3V and 5V rails, Space constrained applications, Low output noise applications
