Overview

 

The CY3280-22x45CY3280-22x45 Universal CapSense Controller Board enables you to evaluate CapSense Plus capability of CY8C22x45 device family. This kit is equipped with an on-chip debugger device (OCD) that allows you to develop and debug the application as per your need. The Universal CapSense Controller Kit CY3280-22x45 will provide you with the hardware to evaluate Cypress’s best in class CapSense, communicate with other devices using UART or I2C and an additional connector that can be used to connect your custom hardware to interface sensors or output devices based on your requirements.

 

The CY3280-22x45CY3280-22x45 family of PSoCRegistered includes the following devices: CY8C21345-24SXICY8C21345-24SXI, CY8C22345-24SXICY8C22345-24SXI, and CY8C22545-24AXICY8C22545-24AXI. The 56-pin OCD part is assembled in the CY3280-22X45 Universal CapSense Controller Board. This part is used only for in-circuit debugging. The CapSense feature of CY8C22X45 can be implemented with the CY3280-SLMCY3280-SLM Universal CapSense Linear Slider Module. The two boards are connected by a 44-pin connector. The other features of CY3280-22X45 can be implemented with the CY3280-CPM1CY3280-CPM1 Universal CapSense Plus Controller Module. The two boards are connected by a 40-pin connector. The CY3280-SLM Universal CapSense Linear Slider Module and the CY3280-CPM1 Universal CapSense Plus Controller Module can be connected with the CY3280-22X45 Universal CapSense Controller Board simultaneously.

 

The PSoCRegistered CY8C22x45 family consists of many Mixed Signal Array with On-Chip Controller devices. These devices are designed to replace multiple traditional MCU-based system components with one low cost single-chip programmable device. PSoC devices include configurable blocks of analog and digital logic, and programmable interconnects. This architecture enables the user to create customized peripheral configurations that match the requirements of each individual application. Additionally, a fast CPU, Flash program memory, SRAM data memory, and configurable IO are included in a range of convenient pinouts and packages.

 

Note:

  • If external OSC used, please power the power with external supply not MiniProg1 or I2CUSB Bridge.
  • OCD parts are not available for production.

PSoC Designer IDE accelerates system bring-up and time-to-market. Develop the applications using a library of pre-characterized analog and digital peripherals in a drag-and-drop design environment. PSoC Programmer is a simple GUI that connects to programming hardware to program and configure PSoC devices. PSoC Programmer is a required installation for both PSoC Creator and PSoC Designer.
