Actually, you must have a very old version of uC/OS-II. uC/OS-II actually supports 255 tasks.
As for a uC/OS-III book targeting the PIC32 well, I'd recommend you contacting your favorite Microchip salesperson or contact and ask them to work with us towards doing a book with them.
That being said, part I of all the uC/OS-III is generic and thus you should find most of the information you need from them to get you going on a PIC32.
I am regular user of PIC32... I am now going to port UC/0S-II . But when i see the UC/OS-III it supports unlimited tasks but version-II only supports upto 56 Tasks. I would like to port UC/OS-III. But the Books you are providing is not given for PIC32. Do you future ideas to Add PIC32.
