spacing between dimension and copper pour, how to set ?

Former Member
Former Member over 15 years ago

Hi,

Is there a way to set the clearance between copper pour and the dimension of

my board ? I did look for this setting in the manual/google/etc but no

luck...

Copper pour keeps a distance of 0.04 mill (1 mm) between the dimension

outline of my board and the copper pour (I have defined the copper pour

polygon outline bigger i.e. outside than my dimension rectangle).

What I would like to achieve is that copper pour will just be flush with my

dimension.

Any idea's....?

Thanks,

Carel.

Nevermind, I have found the setting....never expected it to be in a design

RULE setting dialogue...distance tab:  copper-dimension  image

    Hi Carel image

11 years later, I just wanted to let you know that your thread is still useful. I had never even heard about the design rules tab before you mentioned it.

Thank you so much for sharing your solution, unlike what many others probably would have done. It is genuinely appreciated.

Hope you're doing good and wish you the absolute best in the future!
