Place text along a round route

Former Member
Former Member over 15 years ago

I know you can place text rotated with this command: Text SR15 '3' (28 7);

But I need to place that text along a circle width a 28mm diameter.

Now I could make a script for all 48 numbers, run it and place them by hand

along a circle line.

But is it possible to do the same with text, as I would do placing holes,

and if so how does the command looks like?

Regards

Harry

    If you generate a script, this could as well contain the needed

    coordinates on the circle. (I would write a small script generator in

    Delphi, if I'd need this functionality more than once.)

    If you need it only once: I think there is a ULP that places copies of

    some objects in a circle at regular angles - it was mentioned here (in

    one of the groups) not too long ago. You could use that to generate

    circular copies of one number, and then "change text" on them manually.
