hi.

you can copy only the .brd file with a diferent name, then, you can

duplicate.

warning: the new brd don't will have a schematic so, you use only for

make a panel.

greetings.

Hi, that´s working for the schematic, but when it start duplicating on the

board, there´s an error.

"Can´t execute while command is running in other window"

How can I fix that?

The error message comes for every line in the script, several times.

It´s like I copy and paste on the schematic, I still need to route on the

board, and that´s not what the script should do, right?

It´s like I copy and paste on the schematic, I still need to route on the

board, and that´s not what the script should do, right?

    Procedure:

    1. Finish the part of the schematic you want to duplicate

    2. Place the packages in the layout

    3. Route the tracks (manually or with the Autorouter)

    4. Close the Schematic Editor

    5. Copy the routed layout as often as you need it with

GROUP CUT PASTE .. PASTE .. PASTE ..

    6. Switch to the schematic again (EAGLE reports inconsitency)

    7. Multiply the schematic as you did it in the layout

with GROUP CUT PASTE .. PASTE .. PASTE ..

(The parts that you are pasting into the schematic

will not appear in the layout due to the inconsistency.

        This is the intention here).

    8. Use EXPORT NETSCRIPT to output the netlist as script file

    9. Import the netscript with SCRIPT into the layout.

(The numbering of the components and of the nets is the

same as it is in the schematic. Exceptions are nets that

have a supply pin or are marked with a LABEL, like GND,

        VCC, 0V......)

The Board does not have supply pins nor labels, so this

signals will be enumerated continuously. Copys of GND

will be named GND1, GND2, and so on.

While importing the netscript you have to connect for example

GND1 and GND, the resulting name is GND, then. GND and

        GND2 will become GND, too....

    10. Start ERC and and check/restore consitency

    11. Route the remaining airwires between the copied parts

         of your design.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards
