Re: Remember projects used?

Just looked at this again, and the problem seems to be dependant on the

'Projects' entry in the 'Directories' dialog box.

I have observed the following:

C:\

   Always opens with tree collapsed.

C:\SVN

Works correctly and expands tree to currently open project.

C:\SVN\

Works correctly and expands tree to currently open project.

C:

Displays tree for Eagle program folder (C:\Program Files\EAGLE-5.11.0)

So I think the issue is that I was trying to display the tree starting from

the root directory of the C drive (I want to access projects in both C:\SVN

and C:\work).

This looks like a minor bug that has been introduced in version 5 as I have

verified that C:\ works fine in 4.16r2.

I do not see any difference when I open Eagle V4.15 or V5.3. In both the

applications, the project tree is always collapsed

Just wondering, iirc, on earlier versions (V4?) of Eagle, if I exited

control panel with design projects closed but project tree expanded out,

then restarted Eagle, the tree was left open. I'm running Eagle 5.6 now

and the projects directory is always collapsed when I start the control

    panel.

Am I mistaken or is there a setting that recalls the state which the

control panel was closed in?  All directories are mapped to a network

drive so they get backed up.

The difference is whether or not a project is marked as "open" (with a

green dot after it in the project tree).  If there is such a project,

then the project tree starts opened.  If not, the project tree starts

collapsed.  Note that you can edit a board and schematic without

turning on the green dot.  And here's another thing that green dot

does.  It makes the "Add Device" use the custom set of libraries for

that project.  If you open the same schematic without the green dot,

then  you will get a different set of libraries.
