I have a friend who is struggling with Eagle and I'm afraid my
experience does not cover his problem. He needs to lay out a microwave
amplifier circuit which will consist of the usual components
(transistors, resistors, caps) plus some microstrip patterns.
Anyone on the list using Eagle for this purpose? If so, I'd appreciate
hearing how you handle the microstrip -- have you made a library of
various dimensioned "devices" and then make a schematic using those
parts, and eventually a board layout? He says this is not practical and
is just using the board layout editor to produce his designs.
