How to multiply a circuit on the board

Former Member

Hi,

I have completed a board design for a small circuit (1/8th of a EURO board). For production I want of course to have 8 times this circuit on one board for efficency reasons.

But how can I do that?

When I simply try to form a group on the board and try to copy I get the error message that his can only be done in the circuit screen.

I think this is a quite common normal request ... most engineers will place more than one circuit on one print for efficient manufacturing.

How can we do that

thanks

Michael

    Good morning, Michael,

    Look at panelize.ulp.

I have attached a modified version that adds tab routes between each

    board in the panel.

Bear in mind, though, that everything on layers 25 (tnames) and 26

(bnames) is copied to layers 125 and 126 to avoid the renumbering done

by eagle.  Modify your cam job to exclude 25 and 26 from the silk screen

    and include 125 and 126.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the fast response ... When I try to execute the ULP I get a message that this function can't be executed in the light verison.

    regards

    Michael
