copy components & layout to my board

I have a board in progress, with some components on already, and the board size. Is it possible to copy another project into mine, where I could paste the components, their placement, and their traces, everything intact onto a spot in my board? The attached files is what I would like to migrate to my existing project.

I also would like to be able to copy succesful layouts to another project. Is there a way to do this? Maybe make a schematic and layout a part? Please advise us.

This can be don via the menu Edit/Paste from.... .
