Hey,
I'm using Eagle Light. I set up some polygons on the top layer of my board and named them GND. When I run autoroute, non-GND traces cut across my GND polygons. Is there a way to prevent that from happening?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
There is no setting (that I know of) that will keep the auto-router from
routing in a polygon. The best we have right now is to increase the
"Polygon" cost to 30 (maximum). This makes a trace cutting through a
polygon have the highest cost so it will prefer to go elsewhere. However,
if it's the lowed cost (even though it's high) then it will still route
that trace.
If you'd like to see a setting that would outlaw routing in polygons then
help by voting for it in my (new) monthly bug list poll. It was posted in
this newsgroup today. Here is a link for your convenience
