I found some documentation in the HELP/Schematic Editor/User Language  on

and Even some stuff on Attributes.  Imagine that !  There might just be some

good info in there.

I am hoping to be able to make some more useful BOMs using the new

ATTRIBUTES entry.

In other words, I am wondering what I need to do to extract new data field

ATTRIBUTES from

version 5  components in the schematic file.

Thanks,

Hi guys and gals...   I have opened one of my Eagle version 4 schematics

into Eagle 5  (4.9 actually)

to play with the important added attributes feature for creating BOMs.

I have done some modifications to the existing .BOM ULP file a while back

and am "sort of" (weakly)

experienced at ULP programming but need to understand more about

accessing these new attribute fields.

Does anybody have any suggestions or pointers on this ?   I will be

adding a description field to individual

components for easier and better Bill Of Material outputs.  This is one

area where PADS excelled over Eagle

in the past.

Anyway, any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks,

boB

Is this public yet? looking to use the new attributes as part of a BOM

    output.

Been using BOM-AM-14 but it doe not (yet) support the attributes.

        Thanks - Oppie
