Nokia Purchases Trolltech

Hello everyone,

 

I saw a story running on slashdot today about Nokia buying Trolltech.  Any

ideas on how this may effect EAGLE as it is based on QT (by Trolltech)?  I

assume that CadSoft has a commercial license of the product so they have a

bit more leverage than KDE that uses a free license.

    Perhaps Qt4 bugs will be remove more quickly with better means to build.

    We must all think that for eagle.

    It's not good time to be pessimist for good work Klaus !

    of Trolltech ???)...

     

    Now I guess we have to wait for next move from ... Nokia. I am wondering

    why Nokia needs Trolltech - in any case the situation is not stable, not

    good for Eagle.
