Announcement:  EAGLE Enterprise Toolkit Released

autodeskguest

Hello everyone,

After a bit of delay, I am pleased to announce the release of the first

tools in the EAGLE Enterprise Toolkit.  This toolkit is intended to provide

supported tools to those wishing to integrate EAGLE into their

professional design and manufacturing chains.  This will include interfaces

to other CAD packages and MRP/ERP systems along with tools to increase

design productivity.

The first two tools to be released are:

EET PADS Interface

EET IPC7351A Package Creator

These tools are written using EAGLE's native scripting languages and thus

run on any platform that is supported by EAGLE:  Windows, Linux, and MAC.

For more info go to http://www.eagletoolkit.com.

Cheers,

James.

    Hi Uwe,

I will be posting a screen shot of the main screen with a bit of a

description.  Hopefully that will help to answer your questions.

I've used this tool internally for a couple of years and it is a great time

saver when you need to make complex footprints.

I'll let you know the link when its up.

    James.

    Hi Uwe,

Below is an article that explains this tool in more detail along with a

screen shot of the main dialog.

As I said there, I've used this tool internally for years and it is a real

time saver when creating dense footprints.

What other info would you like?

    Enjoy...

    James.

I'm very interested in learning more about the ERP/MRP system integration.

I'm at the point of needing an ERP/MRP system, but there's only 2 of us

designing at this point. Any suggestions of a low cost, easy to use ERP/MRP

    system?

I don't have any suggestions as to what ERP/MRP system you should or would

want to use--that is certainly not the business I'm in.  We have plans to

provide a much more convenient and flexible way to export data from EAGLE to

various ERP/MRP systems.  Right now, they are a ways down the road map with

other pressing issues before them.  But if there is enough market demand

    priorities can shift image

What exactly do you need the system for?  How many assemblies/products do

    you have to control?

    Cheers,

    James.
