Changing Signals/Traces

Greetings,

   When I try to draw a signal in the board layout, I get an

backannotation error, meaning that it is unable to put the same signal

in the schematic.

 

   What I need to do is to change a power trace so it has the shortest

path to one of the smd pads.  How do I do this and not have the

schematic look like spaghetti?

    If you only want to change the path a trace takes, just use the "ripup"

    command to remove the existing trace and then route the new one manually.
