Newbie question on printing PCB in NEGATIVE

Hi,

I've been using eagle (freeware) for hobby stuff for a few days only. -

I like it !!!

I am trying to print the PCB foil pattern in NEGATIVE.

I figured you can print the PCB out by disabling layers you don't need

then just PRINT and set checkboxes for BLACK, SOLID and optionaly MIRROR

etc. This prints black for tracks,

I need the inverted / negative image.

Does Eagle support this? if so how?

  • Anton,

     

    You'll need to use the CAM processor.

     

    • Download my postscript cam job

    • In eagle, from the board window, choose File->CAM Processor.

     

    • In the cam window, choose File->Open->Job...

     

    • Open the CAM job you just downloaded

     

    • In each tab, change the device from 'PS' to 'PS Inverted'

     

    • Click 'Process Job'

     

    • Close the cam window, save the job

     

    • In your project directory, you now have postscript files for top,

    bottom, and silk. Use something to print them (Ghostscript, CorelDraw,

    Illustrator, etc.)
