Error saying "Symbol is in use" when trying to edit symbol.

Hello

Is there no way to edit a symbol one it is  save and used in a part?

I created a symbol, then a package, then made a device, saved the whole

thing.  I have an error and want to modify the symbol but it gives me errors

no matter what I try to do.

Another issue:

I have some pads on a library part that are x size, but when I place the

device on a schematic and board, the pads are larger and are touching each

other, when clearly they are not touching in Library mode, I have updated

the schematic and board, but the board will not reflect the real same pad

size.

Thanks

You may change the Symbol, for examples, pin names, the drawing itself,

and so on, but you are not allowed to change the number of pins.

If you want to do so, you have to delete the Symbol in the Device first.
