COPY [tName-25] to [tPlace-21]

I have a ULP called "Panelize" that might help you do what you want.

By the way, what are you doing for surface mount stencils?

it is time to send the Gerbers to the boardhouse, I collect 4-5 or even

more different kind of PCBs to the same sheet to get it done fast and

stays linked with the component.

Is there any existing method or script to break this logical assignment

between the copied (converted) tPlace and the component, so it could be

multiplied without auto-numbering the part designators?

Thanks very much! I will check this out right away.

I am not sure if I perfectly understand your question about the silk screen,

I just use it for part designators, component outlines and company logo on

both sides of the PCB.

My thoughts just pointed to this direction (tPlace-21) and I was expecting

the logical connection will break as soon as I copy the data from layer-25

to 21, since layer-21 is purely just informational instead of any

dependency, a least that is what I thought. This maybe an unintentional

handling from the Eagle's programmers viewpoint, but I can not tell, maybe

it meant to be.

Please feel free to ask any specifics, I shall answer with my best

knowledge.
