Eagle doesnt connect signals with GND in board

Hello!

I'm having a problem in Eagle 5.0.0 Light version. I have several GND

symbols in schematic and when I go to the PCB, Eagle doesn't connect these

symbols together (airwire). I tried changing the GND symbols for different

ones, i checked if they all have the same name and found nothing. Finally i

got results when i deleted the gnd symbol and connect all the connections

manually in the schematic. But hear this out: If i place and connect a GND

symbol with this manually connected net, Eagle rips up airwires in the

board.

Is that a bug?

Thx, Tom

It sounds like things have gotten somewhat confused in your schematic.

Have you changed the schematic grid?  You generally should keep your

schematic grid at 0.1", since all the Eagle library symbols are made so that

the pins end up on 0.1" grid points.  If you change the grid, then what you

think look like connections may actually not be connections.  If you run

"Erc" it will give you warnings about such mismatches.

Be sure to use "Net" for making connections in the schematic, not Wire.

This will help you avoid such mistakes.
