Announcement: EAN-01 :: Installing EAGLE 5.0 in Windows Vista

Hello everyone,

This is the first in a series of application notes that will help provide

solutions for common challenges while using EAGLE. These topics are a bit

too complicated to be covered in a simple FAQ.

We had a few customers who were very eager to try out their shiny new EAGLE

5.0 license that they purchased from us. But when they tried to install

EAGLE in Windows Vista they had a difficult time getting it to work. Others

have experienced similar things as recorded on this newsgroup. So this has

become the topic of our first application note as Windows Vista isn't likely

to go away or suddenly become easier to use.
