Premature end of document

Former Member
Former Member over 11 years ago

Got a BSOD during routing of my brd. After restarting computer and EAGLE I cannot preview my design in the Control Panel. When I try to access the file i receive:

Error:

line 1, column 2: Premature end of document.

Same story if I go from my schematics "switch to board".

Tried running it on another computer but with the same result.

Any ideas?

Best regards

Eagle makes backups each time you save after a change.

You should be able to recover to the point of your last save

Goto the folder your schematic and board reside in.

There you will see your current brd and sch files. You should also see

the most recent backup with .s#1 and .b#1 file extensions.

Rename your current Bad files, say .brdx and schx and then rename the

.s#1 and .b#1 files to .sch and .brd
