How to DELETE FILE form SCR or ULP code without breaking your neck?

Hello, Eagles;

Can somebody please give an example

how to DELETE FILE form SCR or ULP code without breaking your neck?

Ideally, I would like to delete file in the current project;

with name such as Current_Board_Name.some_extension;

and with out any dialog boxes / confirmations, etc.

Whatever I tried so far, "REMOVE" in SCR, "system()" in ULP, etc,

did not work for me.

Thank you,

John.

    It is not quite clear to me what you actually want. As far as I

    understand it you want to write an .ulp or .scr to delete a file in your

    project directory?

    Why not just going into the control panel and scratch it?

    1) yes, this is what I want:

    "you want to write an .ulp or .scr to delete a file"

    Why not just going into the control panel and scratch it?

    2) I need to automate multiple repetitive tasks;

    Thank you

    John.
