I just stumbled across the Software Archive website, which claims to sell a
fully registerable coy of Eagle 5.0 pro for $39.95. Download only & no
manual. This sounds way to good to be true. Is it legitimate?
Thanks,
DAve M

URL?
I assume that either
a) It's just the normal freeware download that is also available
completely free from CadSoft. In this case, "registerable" would mean
that you can buy a license from CadSoft and then use your already
installed copy without having to install it again (just as it is with
the download from CadSoft). So you'd pay $39.95 for really nothing.
b) It's illegal and/or cracked.
Keeping in mind that these days there are many offerings where you'd pay
for nothing (like expensive entries in some obscure "company data bases"
etc.), I'd say that a) has a higher probability.
