Board border ?

Simple newbie question:

I have made a nice small board, everything worked out fine. The only thing

missing is the actual board border, a non-filled rectangle.

How would I draw one, on what layer and what thickness do I use for the

border?

    Wire, Layer 20 Dimension,Width 0 mil or more image

     

     

    Just a suggestion, you might want to make the width > 0 mils.  A few of

    the fab houses that I have done business with complain with 0 width

    dimensions.

    That depends on who is going to make your boards.  Talk to them and

    find out what options you have.  You will probably be delivering some

    gerber files to the board maker.  The board maker that I  use can make

    use of a silkscreen border, or a set of 4 copper corners.  I use that

    when I am making a bare-bones board with no silkscreen.  I sometimes

    have some confusion with my board maker over whether I wanted them to

    trim the board inside or outside the copper corners.
