SOIC-28   330mil

autodeskguest

I have a memory chip that is 330mil wide, rather than 300mil.

When I mounted on prototype PCB, it was a little tricky to ensure

connectivity.

I need to make a couple more hobby boards,

Is there a 330mil package outline for SOIC-28 available for download

anywhere.

Thanks

I think your lack of replies is a subtle call to RTFM.  There are

tutorials on laying out your own parts at

    http://tangentsoft.net/elec/movies/ and numerous other sites.

It is highly recommended you lay out your own as you can then ensure the

pads are the sizes to suit your assembly method. Hand soldering is

easier with a larger pad than you would use for hot air or IR reflow

    assembly for example.

    Thanks!

    I am newbie at Eaglecad.

While I have done 4 pcbs now (and they work), it was a lot of work and a bit

    of luck so far.

    These tutorials are great!
