Wire caps

When drawing wires I can't one with a flat cap. After creating the wire

then right clicking and going to properties, the cap property is ghosted

out and I can't select it. I also tried the command line as well with:

change cap flat but nothing happens. I can create an arc and then change

  the ends to flat but not a wire.

    If you use the WIRE commmand caps are always round. It is not possible

    to change them. But you could place a RECT at the wire's end that

    overlaps the wire. Unfortunately DRC will report an error which you

    can approve.

     

    What you could do else is to use the ARC command and draw an arc

    with a big radius. So the arc looks like a straigth line and you

    can use flat caps again.

     

    Maybe one of my proposals will work for you.
