Pads without cream

Hmmm.. I think I have read all the docs, but...

 

I need to make some pads that will be used to probe smd boards and don't

want solder cream on these pads. How can I prevent this?

I have tried making new parts but cannot stop the cream layer being

auto-generated. Is there a way (or point me please to the appropriate doc)?

I realise that I could just draw them as shapes, but this removes the

connectivity checking.

    Good morning, Bob,

     

    In the library editor, edit the package of interest.  Right click on the

    pad and uncheck the CREAM check box.

     

    You can also type into the command line:

     

        change cream off

     

    then click on the pad.

     

    Save the library, go back to the board editor, and do a

    Library=>Update.  To verify, display the tCream layer.
