Autoplace

I have tried autoplace_v3 but it is giving me errors saying that 'The

Standard edition of Eagle can't perform the requested action!"

 

I does sort of place thing about right but not entirely correct. Some

parts are placed outside the dimensions.

 

Can anyone recommend a ULP or other program for auto placing

components nearest the correct connections that works better?

    This ULP makes a rough placment of the components in the layout

    editor according to the placement of the devices in the schematic.

    Don't expect the components to be placed inside your board. As

    you already experienced the limits of the Light-/Standard EAGLE

    will be exceeded.
