Hi
The LF198/298/398 is a Sample and hold chip from Nat Semi.
In the libs I have the suface mount version is shown as 8 pin,
with the same designation as the 8 pin DIL package.
The SMD package LF398M is a 14 pin package with no correlations between
packages. From the data sheets from Nat Semi it looks like its only a 14
pin package available in SMD
