2 symbol pins sharing the same pad

Hello,

I am trying to create a soc323-3 package of 2 diodes that have one

common pad on par with Figs 3, 4 or 5 of

http://www.nxp.com/acrobat_download/datasheets/BAT54W_2.pdf

How do I make the diodes, if possible, to be separate so I can place

them on separate parts of the schematic?

Thank you,

A

    Hello Amer,

That is a tricky one to make into a heterogenous symbol.  You could simply

draw the common pin on the 2nd symbol i.e. wires and circles but not an

actual pin.  Sort of cheating but it would look OK.  But if you happened to

not include the other symbol then it would never get connected.

With that type of device, I would just make it one gate and use on/off

    sheet labels.

    Cheers,

    James.
