Offset in CAM Output

autodeskguest
autodeskguest over 16 years ago

Using 5.5.0, I created a 2" x 1.5" board.  I'm seeing an offset (frequently

0.0151") in the coordinates when I create the 274x files.  What is the cause

and how can I fix it?

Example details below.

Thanks, Glenn Peterson

These are circular copper rings (%ADD14C,0.0680*%) for pads located at x=

1.900" and y = 0.400, 0.500, ... 0.900, and 1.000".

This behaviour is intended. See Pos.Coords. option on the

    CAM Processor:

    From the manual:

    Pos. Coords.:

Avoids negative coordinate values for the output.

The drawing will be moved near the coordinate's axis,

even if it is already in the positive coordinates range.

Negative values can lead to errors with a lot of devices!

This option should be set on always by default.

Switching it off, transfers the coordinate values from

    the Layout Editor unchanged.
