Lost early version files?

Seems when I upgraded to the 5.6 version, all of my previous (hard work)

files are apparently not recognized. Is there any way to recover those

old tried and true (working) schematics and board layouts? Much anguish

if they're gone.....

 

  • Never happened to me, working from 2.6 -> 5.6, always with a licesed copy.

    Did you search with win$-explorer? Are there any backups (*.s#1 to 9, *.b#1

    to 9) or did you recently make a full backup of your hd so you can restore

    t-1?

    Yes, I found that I had backed these files up....memory failed but the

    new version did annihilate them in the 'projects' folder - need

    awareness on that issue. This computer is not set for automatic anything

    - updates to software of primary concern. Windows updates are bad enough!

    Thanks for the help - with my 'multiple' problems.....! Also, checking

    on my license - may be an issue there too.....
