CAM350 translator

Does anybody know if it is possible to translate *.cam files made with

CAM350 into either RS274X or a format it can be worked with in Eagle?  Got a

bunch of older files my predecessor did in that format and unfortunately the

license was lost.

I got the free camvu from downstream technologies which allows me to view

and print - but no export or save functions... If only there was a print to

gerber converter.

    Hi

It's my experience that if you loose your license you can email the

vendor and ask for  replacement. You will need to provide company

details, software version numbers etc. to convince them you are a bona

    fide  licence holder.

It's worse than that. The designer had passed away, I couldn't find the

software on his old computer and the dongle is nowhere to be found. Perhaps

it was used on a computer from his home. In any event, without giving some

money to downstream systems, not likely that I can do anything useful with

    those files.

I'd like to have some capability in-house for those legacy files but there

are some board houses that will still accept those files.
