Updating part in a library no longer present

autodeskguest

Hi,

I am working on a board with parts that belong to a library that is not

available.

Is it possible to update the part (Change connections in this case) for a

part without it's library?

Thanks,

Doug

    Doug;

    Yes, it's possible.  First run "exp-project-lbr.ulp" from the schematic

    window.  This will create libraries for the parts in your project.  The

    library names will be the same as the original libraries.  Then use the

    library editor to change the specific part, and save the library.  Then

    click on library/update and select the library.  Your sch/brd will now have

    the updated part.
