V7.0 Library Selection

Hi,

I have upgraded to v7.0 (free version - I am a hobbyist, running on

OpenSuse 13.1 32-bit) and notice that the selection of libraries (the

green dots) is not being respected when I select a new component, I have

to wait until the whole list has been scanned. I always deselect all

Eagle Libraries and have only my own selected. I import what I need (and

adjust it as needed).

Any ideas how I can fix this behaviour?

    Normally bad form to answer my own post, but this might help others.

    Firstly to explain my installation, I install eagle into

    /opt/eagle- and then place a symlink in /opt to point to it

    (this makes updates easy).

    It seems that the install of Eagle V7.0 has not updated the value of

    $EAGLEDIR. I found that it was pointing to an older version (by

    inspecting the 'unwanted' libraries).

    Renaming the older version's directory has stopped the bad behaviour,

    but I do not know how EAGLEDIR is set, so that I can correct it.
