"disable" or "comment out" components

  Is there a way to "comment out" or disable certain parts in eagle, so

they would still appear in the schematic, but not on the board?

    Thanks, but that really doesn't work for what I'm hoping to do.  I

    usually do the same thing, to tell you the truth.

     

    I have a rather complicated schematic, and I want to layout and route

    each section separately.
