Windows recently opened documents

Does somebody know how I can make Eagle sch or brd files get displayed in

the windows XP "Recently Opened Documents" list that is displayed in the

start menu? I have an extreme lot of disorganization in my projects folder

(what shows up in the Eagle Control Panel) and sometimes have a hard time

finding and returning to the most recent version of a project I was working

on.

I know I could turn each design into a project and then OPEN the project -

but that is last resort because if there were more than one design that I

might want to work on alternately, then it would not help when going back

and forth.

I'd appreciate any pointers. Would I need to edit the registry, or is there

even a way?

Right-click on a brd file, go to open with->choose program. Browse to

the eagle.exe file in your program files directory. Check the Always use

this program checkbox. Do the same for the sch file.

If any of that is wrong, it's cause I can't remember exactly the

phrasing xp uses and am on vista right now.

That answer was right on the money for the loading sch files.

My right click menu did not have an "Open With" option as I tried to do the

    same for BRD files,

so I made a file association with the same good result.

    Thanks, Travis.

afaik, only documents that are opened from windows explorer appear in

    the recent doc's menu.

but it would seem to me that projects are what you should be doing, at

least on EAGLE 4 it seems to make it easy to CUT and PASTE between

different designs, like one click easy... what exactly is the issue that

    makes projects undesirable?
