docu-dummy library

Hi,

 

the docu-dummy library is great, but I'm having trouble creating my own

symbols.

All looks OK, all properties seem the same as existing dummy devices,

but mine result in "Device XXX has no package!".

Well, of course it hasn't - that's the idea :=)

The symbol has no pins and is on layer 94 symbols.

What could I be missing?

    Bad form to answer my own post, but it might help somebody.

     

    I had imported a symbol into my docu-dummy.lbr from a 'real' component

    and removed its pins, using the symbol editor. They vanished from the

    editor view.

    Inspecting the XML, however, showed that the pins still existed,

    although not visible.

    Editing the XML to remove the pins fixed it.
