Pick and place data can be generated with mountsmd.ulp.

the board with SMD components?
Richard already mentioned pick and place data. However, some assemblers
want to do that themselves. They usually want part centroids, and that is
not necessarily the package origin as defined in Eagle.
They will want the solder paste mask for any side of your board that will
have suface mount components on it. This is just another Gerber file
generated by the Eagle CAM processor.
In addition to the machine readable solder paste mask, I always supply a
board drawing, BOM, and parts index. I have a nice ULP and scripts for
generating the board drawings. The ULP finds the extent of the board in
each dimension, and adds grid lines, coordinate labels, and a legend. The
scripts adjust the lookup tables so this can be used to view the top or
bottoms sides of the board.
The parts index is a text file showing the location of each part on the
board (and on the schematic, but assembly houses don't get schematics and
don't care), using the coordinates of the board drawing. This is
particularly useful when components are spaced so tight that some of the
designators didn't make it to the silkscreen. I define all my library
parts so that each part has its designator listed in small type in the
TDocu layer. The TDocu layer is shown in solid black on the board drawing,
but doesn't show up at all on the silkscreen.
All the ULPs, scripts, and other Eagle utilities I use for this process are
available in my Eagle Tools release from
