top and bottom layers do not line up

autodeskguest

Hi all,

I printed out cam files using the cam processor. When I viewed the files in

gerbviewer i noticed that the layers do not line up. I am not sure why but

the board houses refuse to make the boards because the drills end up going

through the wrong place. For example, the bottom layer ends up reversed and

the top layer remains the same. So the drill holes and solder mask on the

bottom layer are not at the right location. Thanks a lot guys for your help.

Thanks in advance.

You set whether the bottom layer is mirrored in the cam job,

    The default is reversed.

    Happy Monday,

It could also be an offset in either layer.  Make sure that offset is set

    to zero.

    Cheers,

    James.
