Farnell just made a
about EAGLE 5.9. First, it is scheduled for release in spring 2010. So
EAGLE 5.8 (with the new
will obviously be scheduled before that.
It was also announced that EAGLE 5.9 will incorporate (as expected by many)
Farnell's Design Link interface. For those who don't know, Design Link is
a real-time link to Farnell's database of parts including all sorts of
information about each part. Of course, if you don't use Farnell/Newark as
a distributor it will be of limited use. But being able to get quick
access to datasheets or other information won't hurt.
