How to mulitiply board ?

Hello,

 

I've created small board from schematic. Now I want to multiply it (5x1

matrix) into larger board for automated mounting of 5.

During cut group / paste into another board problem appears. New, added

  boards have

parts enumerated so silk screen description shows i.e. no  5xR1 (as I

expect) but R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 instead. After board mounting and

separation I want to have 5 same boards with the same parts description.

How to disable multiplied parts enumeration or get problem work around

(beter solution than "text" command for every part)?

    This can't be "disabled" - every part must have its unique identifier.

     

    But there's a solution though: Run one of the panelize ULPs, before

    actually doing the panelizing. They create copies of the part names in a

    separate layer. Then, when generating the gerber files, use that new

    layer instead of tNames/bNames.
