Changing pad size

Hi,

 

I am trying to create a pad diameter of .050" with a drill of .040".

 

I have copied the LED library to LED2.  I have modified the package to be

.050 dia and .040 drill.  Saved that.  Checked the measurements of the pad

and they are .050 and .040 as expected.

 

I then selected that library to use.

 

When I try to add that part to my schematic, the PCB has a pad that is .060

diameter.  I have tried modifying new parts, adding new packages and all do

the same thing.  They are correct in the library, but when I bring them into

the schematic, the dimenisons are wrong on the PCB.

 

Any ideas?

    Hi Tim,

     

    You should have a search through the older posts, I remember this being

    discussed many times. Hint: Probably a setting in DRC.
