Net list does not match gerber files

Hello

 

I am using IPC-D-356.ULP to output a net list that is sent to PCB house with

gerber files for board fabrication. And the board house is say that my net

list does not match my gerbers. Is anyone else using this ULP and getting

errors or maybe know of a better ULP for generating net list from eagle?

    I have used that ulp a few times w/o any negative feedback.   You might

    want to check to see if perhaps the CAM processing step is introducing

    some offset in the gerber data.   Perhaps your board house an also be a

    bit more explicit about what is wrong?

    First, the factory should be able to pinpoint where the problems are.

    Second, I had to write my own cause this ulp could not handle long net and

    device names. Take a look at its output and check if all is arranged nicely

    into columns. If one line looks broken, that might be a problem.

     

    Also check your gerbers with a gerber viewer (like gerbv wich is freeware)

    to see if all layers and drills are aligned correctly. Some gerber viewers

    can import the netlist and show it's testpoints.

    It could be that the CAM processor is set to "pos. Coord", that it adds

    offsets that the IPC list does not have. You could ask the manufacturer to

    adjust for this offset.
