Desperate attempt, but has anyone seen an adapter for a 0.4mm pitch TSSOP48
to 0.5mm footprint? I screwed up the package dims...
I was thinking a thin 2 layer pcb that could do the job.

I doubt this exists because the chances that someone did the exact same
screw-up is like that of a large lottery win. If it's an urgent project
maybe you should quickly whip up the 2-layer on Eagle and ship the
Gerbers to one of the super-fast PCB shops. Also, that way you get to
use the screwed-up footprint one more time
If it's any comfort, this stuff happens to all of us once in a while. I
am not sure how the little board will reflow, if they offer any higher
temp material at reasonable cost that would be cool.
